An interregional gathering bridging Québec and Ontario's digital arts sectors, organized by Xn Quebec, in collaboration with MUTEK, the City of Montréal, the Québec Office in Toronto, the City of Toronto, Interactive Ontario, The Bentway, and TIFF.
In March 2026, Sarah curated and hosted the talks programme for L'Effet Québec Toronto, a landmark cross-provincial summit held at The Bentway bringing together creative leaders from Québec and Ontario's digital media sectors. Co-presented by Xn Québec, MUTEK, TIFF, Interactive Ontario, The Cfity of Montréal, and the City of Toronto, the event catalyzed new co-production and distribution opportunities across two of Canada's most dynamic creative ecosystems.
Programming highlights included interventions from Naomi Johnson, Executive Director of imagineNATIVE, and Kat Cizek, Artistic Director and Co-Director of the Co-Creation Studio at MIT's Open Documentary Lab, alongside panels spanning distribution, emerging technological trends, and export opportunities.
The event drew over 120 representatives from museums, cultural institutions, festivals, and city governments across both provinces, and debuted a new immersive format that reimagined traditional industry networking.
